Dr. Viraj Chopra is the Director and Principal Dentist at VCSmile by Design and the driving force behind the clinic’s vision. With over two decades of experience in Restorative Dentistry, her clinical excellence is demonstrated in her academic and professional credentials as well as her commitment to acquiring the latest dental technology and clinical skills.

Educational Details:

A Graduate degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi she went on to do her Masters (MDS) in Operative Dentistry (Endodontics) from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow. After 10 years in practice in India, she moved to London, UK for acquiring her second postgraduate degree, MSc in
Implant Dentistry from UK’s renowned Guy’s Dental Institute, King’s College, London in 2003.

Achievements:

In 2007, she was awarded the Key Skills Certificate by the FGDP(UK) for complying with their good clinical governance guidelines. In addition to her double Masters in Endodontics and Implant Surgery, she has taken advanced professional certifications in Facial Aesthetics in Botox and Dermal Fillers,
ClearStepTM (Invisible braces) and OSO Athletic (Sports Dentistry).

An active participant in London’s dental community, Dr. Chopra was involved in teaching programs for overseas dentists and dental nurses and delivered lectures on restorative and implant dentistry to GDPs.
She was also appointed Mentor, by the leading dental implant company, Straumann. Her articles and scientific papers have been published in national and international journals.
While in London Dr. Chopra, had her consulting chamber in Harley Street and also worked in an acclaimed group practice in South London. She has now returned to India and brought VCSmile by Design, a state-of-the-art dental facility in New Delhi.
